He fought because he wanted to confront and overcome his own fears. After a successful amateur career and building a strong online presence as the Muay Thai Guy, Sean decided to ride on the momentum and turn pro. But his journey as a pro didn’t quite work out the way he had envisioned. He got knocked down 3 times in the first round in his first pro fight, and lost via TKO. He would lose his next 2 professional fights as well. Enter self doubt: How can he still call himself the Muay Thai Guy and be 0-3? Should he just quit the fight life completely?
