Eddie Bravo is famous for his submission win over Royler Gracie back at ADCC 2003. At this time Royler was the best and Eddie was just a brown belt. Nobody knew who he was but that changed quickly. Since then Eddie has been recognized as a JiuJItsu Mastermind and opened up his own 10th Planet JiuJitsu academy creating his own system of No Gi JiuJitsu for MMA. Because Eddie does not wear the Gi anymore and just trains and teaches No Gi there was a lot of misunderstood controversy.
