The Shield S1-S7

A friend let me borrow the first two seasons on DVD to see what I think of The Shield. I almost did not get through the second season. I lost interest. I was interested in seeing how the second season ended and what (if any) resolution the season would have, but I was not overly eager to sit through the last 4 or 5 episodes. This show is entertaining. I would not say The Shield is a bad show. The problem for me was that there is not anything special that grabbed me. I liked the actors in the series, especially Jay Karnes as Detective Wagenbach, and Catherine Dent as Danny Sofer, but the acting in the series was not enough to make me stay with it. I see The Shield as just another show that I could watch if nothing else is on, but I'm not looking for it, nor am I borrowing season 3 from my friend anytime soon.
