The show itself was an effort by all 3 promotions to stay relevant during a time when the WWF and NWA were dominating the wrestling industry, but SuperClash III would turn out to be a huge failure. Jerry Lawler vs Kerry Von Erich was a solid match, the rest of the show was pretty rough.
