Early in their 1 Fall intergender bout, Jay whips Sofia off the ropes, and Sofia comes back and floors Jay with a wild Hurricanrana, then drills him with a big boot to the jaw for a 2 count. That sums up this bout perfectly-back and forth action, big strikes and big moves, especially from Sofia. Jay fights out of Sofia’s Sleeperhold attempt and works her over with rope chokes, stomps, a crunching Suplex, and an anklelock. When he tosses her into the corner, Sofia uses the ropes to avoid his charge and also deliver a nasty kick to the head. Soon after, Sofia goes high-risk with a cross bodyblock, but things don’t quite end up the way she’d intended. She ends up trapped in a seated Abdominal Stretch on the mat, but manages to escape, only to receive a boot to the gut and a club over the back of the head. Jay gets Sofia in position for a Suplex … can he connect and earn the 3 count, or does Sofia still have a couple tricks up her sleeve?
