Fresh off “Homecoming ’91,” Eddie Marlin announces a Lights Out match for the Mid-South Coliseum featuring: - Dirty White Boy & Dirty White Girl vs. Eric Embry & Miss Texas - No DQ, No Time Limit - LOSER GETS THEIR HEAD SHAVED Embry immediately threatens to “make Eddie Marlin pay with his life” (again), because subtlety is overrated. The Goon Squad Arrives - Boss Winters reinvents himself as “The Godfather” and unveils his newest creation… The Goon Squad. The real meat of this episode? - Bill Dundee and Danny Davis take their fractured friendship to another level. The Light Heavyweight Title now carries a $40,000 Japan payday attached to it and suddenly this isn’t about friendship or belts anymore. Dundee calls Davis greedy. Davis calls Dundee a backbiter. What started as mutual respect turns into one of the most emotionally real promos we’ve seen in months. This was Memphis storytelling at its best.
