This match between 2 decidedly verbose athletes kicks off with some psychological warfare as the pair trade barbs about their respective countries of origin. At least her native Canada isn’t still part of the UK, Nicole points out. But Nikki isn’t having it, cottoning on to Nicole’s tactics. So, instead, as you do when psychological warfare fails, they try some physical exchanges instead, grabbing each other’s hair with gusto. And, thus, we have a theme for the match: hairpulling! Both ladies take it to the other’s locks with much enthusiasm, tying tresses around ropes, busting out Hairmares and numerous other hair-assisted moves. There are a couple non-follicular moves, notably a dizzying Airplane Spin, but not too many of them. No single athlete manages to sustain an advantage – there’s plenty of suffering to go around. Hair-assisted chokes, Camel Clutches, face slams…they both get creative. In the end, one lady screams out her submission after her hair is practically torn out by the roots. Technical wrestling this isn’t!
