In this lesson we will review what we learnt about Frida Kahlo in the previous lesson. We will build on our self-portraits from the previous lesson by adding composition to them.

In this lesson we will learn about the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and her self-portrait techniques. We will study one self-portrait in detail and then use her techniques to create our own self-portrait.

In this lesson, we will learn about the work of artist Yinka Shonibare. We will look at his sculpture, 'Cheeky Little Astronomer', and then use objects to create our own sculpture that represents our experience of 'Lockdown'.

In this lesson, we will contrast Chila Kumari Burman and Richard Hamilton's pop art styles. We will explore two of Chila Burman's personal collages and then produce a personal pop art collage of our own.

In this lesson, we will learn about the artist Chila Kumari Burman. We will discover what her influences are, explore some examples of her artwork, and produce a sketchbook research task in the style of a comic book front cover.

In this lesson, we will look at artworks in relation to biomorphism. We will look at how Anish Kapoor and Chakaia Booker's sculptures have a biomorphic shape, and then create our own sculpture inspired by nature.

In this lesson, we will contrast Chila Kumari Burman and Claes Oldenburg's pop art styles. We will explore how and why they created ice cream cone sculptures, and then create our own origami ice cream cone.

In this lesson, we will learn about the work of sculptor Veronica Ryan. We will look at examples of her abstract and biomorphic work, and then create a sculpture inspired by her work.
