Sheamus and Cesaro were arguing backstage, Foley stopped them and put them in a best of seven series, with the winner getting a title shot. Sheamus made it 1-0 on the Summerslam kick-off. He made it 2-0 next week on Raw. He made it 3-0 a week later. Cesaro beat Sheamus at a house show to make it 3-1. Cesaro made it 3-2 on Raw and a week later, he made it even. The last match was at Clash of Champions. Both of them went over the barricade and neither of them could continue, ending in a draw. On Raw, Foley gave them a shot at the Raw Tag Titles. Then they faced Nick Cutler and Willis Williams. Cesaro went for the Neutralizer, Sheamus hit Willis with the Brogue Kick and Cutler followed. Cesaro told him he had it and they won the match.
