Would you listen to Carrie again? Why?Sure.I enjoyed listening to Sissy Spacek reading the book; especially since she played Carrie to perfection on the big screen. What did you like best about this story?I read this book years ago.It seems Mr King has filled out the gauntness of the book in the intervening years.I'm glad.It was a good story and now a better one. What does Sissy Spacek bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?See my comment above. And she is a really good actress.Any additional comments?Glad I purchased it.
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not? Many young persons have never read Carrie, depending on the movie to tell them the story.Big mistake. This is far better than the film. What was one of the most memorable moments of Carrie? The prom of course.Readers get to see it from different points of view and it makes the experience richer and more unforgetable.Which scene was your favorite?See aboveDid Carrie inspire you to do anything?Hopefully the reader will look upon bullying in a different light after reading Carrie and the forward by Stephen King.It is not a victimless harmless activity.Any additional comments?I have loved this book since I was 14.Except for some references, the story is timeless..A great start to an amazing career.Bravo Stephen!
