Compatibility of season sets and old vs. new results boards/books is a perennial issue among APBA Footballers. Here, we run a few plays with the 1976 Buccaneers (current set, 2017 copyright date) in a scrimmage/combine vs. a semi-decent phantom team, comparing four sets of charts: • 1994-1997 season set basic book • 1999 season set (2000 edition) green box basic book • 2008 copyright red basic book • 2020 copyright master book This demo illustrates that the basic results don't really change from book to book, and also illustrates the "formula" whereby the basic books were distilled down from the master charts by averaging out the dual results columns of the master game. Apologies for the out-of-focus segments; new glasses definitely in order soon. Also note my mistake at 25:56, in which I read the play result off the wrong field position (leading to a vague sense of confusion on my part that is ultimately resolved upon further examination).
