When danger is a prevalent component to the environment, thus a lack of respect can burn one before one can even learn... This is common amongst white belts who over time start to develop a feel for why respect is so important; but to take this even further, even within a fight itself, whether it be jiu jitsu, muay thai, mma, etc... this concept remains just as true.
