OFA Deku got a new change in the new Season 16 2nd and a half anniversary patch of My Hero Ultra Rumble. They added a new visual effect to his arm upon entering the gearshift state. This doesn’t really change much besides adding another way to see if he is in that state or not in advance to him using one of the unique moves in that state. All the same though I wanted to play him today because while the character can be quite annoying to fight man is he just so much fun to use. His alpha hits like a truck, puts you in wake up catch simulator, and has a ridiculous hitbox. His beta provides some good aoe to dish out. And his gamma is great movement and is one of the best lock on attacks in the entire game. And his melee is ridiculous with the tracking making melee tunings so good on him. 3 seasons after release and he is still just such a strong character.
