Learn how to perform a spinning elbow strike that can devastate your next opponent. This video showcases the spinning back elbow being used from different angles, so you can see what it looks like. The key to the spinning elbow is to rotate your elbows first and then throw your elbow after the rotation. This elbow is not easy to land and can be blocked if your opponent has a tight guard. In order to cover distance you need to make sure that you step forward and to the side of your opponent, so you align the elbow with the center of your opponent's face. A defense to this elbow is to lean back (dangerous if your opponent steps forward), block it, or to duck under the elbow (ducking is dangerous because they may through an up elbow that hits you). Keeping your hands up and a tight guard is the safest defense.
