Santana has just defeated Leva in a grueling match earn a shot at referee Jayme Jameson’s coveted Figure Four Championship. That is until upstart Tesha decides to stick her nose in and demand a #1 contenders match. Jayme with her well-developed sense of fair play decrees despite being exhausted Santana must accept the match or forfeit her #1 contenders spot, any fan of Santana already knows her answer! Tesha gives a good accounting of herself as she chains and counters early but even coming off a demanding match Santana gets the better of her leading to a would be near fall, if pins counted in a Figure Four match. Undaunted Santana locks in the dreaded hold, but price creatively counters the hold and locks one of her own in. With fatigue evident, Tesha pushes her advantage but sufficed to say the hold isn’t her forte’ and upon escaping Santana demonstrates her proficiency at the move but can’t quite seal the deal. Strategy changes and one challengers leg is thoroughly softened up with submissions she isn’t even allowed to tap out to. An adjustment to ring gear sets the stage for the climatic Figure Four but it’s hardly money in the bank for the victor!
