Learn from Legends: http://www.legendarystriking.com Wrapping your hands before you step into the ring is a big deal. And in Thailand, it is positively an art form. This is hand wrapping as you’ve never seen before. In the olden days where fights were less regulated, Thai trainers were known to slip hard objects such as little metal coins under the wraps, on top of the fighter’s knuckles. In even older days, fighters used to fight “Kard Chuek” (bare knuckle) style, with the linen rope wraps coated in sharp glass shards😳 But that is a story for another time. That is obviously illegal today. Nowadays, they build a hard piece of padding made entirely out of tape. It is an impenetrable armour for the knuckles. And the sick thing is, it is always a work in progress. They are used at every fight, with more tape layered on top, constantly moulded by the repeated impact from strikes.
