A disagreement over who has the best Figure Four starts this match off. Kristin attacks and Malia’s trademark over-the-knee black boots are no protection from Astara’s leg slams, hamstring kicks and spinning toeholds. Soon Kristin is clamping on a tight Figure Four that has Malia screaming in agony. Hosaka’s endurance is put to the test as she suffers for an extended time in the hold. Even after reaching the ropes Kristin refuses to release the veteran. Malia finally spins over, reversing the hold and giving Kristen a taste of the pain. Once in control Malia delivers heel strikes to the knee, brutal thigh claws and an inverted Mutalock. Malia repeatedly slams Kristin’s knee into the ring apron and steel ring post and then it’s Hosaka’s turn to unleash her Figure Four! With legs entwined, it’s a battle of wills with Malia showing no mercy and Kristin desperate for a reversal. To get her injured legs back one of these Figure Four artists will be forced to make a humiliating admission of defeat to the superior leglock.
