A week later, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were making fun of Kairi, who appeared and challenged Billie. They met a week later, where Kairi won with the Insane Elbow. A week later, Ember Moon beat Mercedes Martinez. Nikki Cross appeared from the crowd, Royce appeared and Kairi also appeared. They met at Takeover War Games. Moon caught both Nikki and Royce with the Eclipse and pinned Nikki to win the title. A week later on NXT, Kairi faced Royce. Kairi hit Royce with the Insane Elbow to win the match. A month later, Moon retained the title against Sonya Deville and Kairi sent a message to her. Shayna appeared and caught her from behind until she passed out. She returned in the Royal Rumble at number 6, where she got eliminated by Dana Brooke after 4 minutes. Two weeks later on NXT, Shayna faced Moon for the title. Shayna tried to injure Moon’s arm, Kairi appeared and caught her with a forearm, ending in a DQ. Kairi threw Shayna out of the ring, who then came back and Kairi caught her with a spear. They met two weeks later, where Shayna tapped out Kairi. A month later, Kairi faced Vanessa Borne, where she won with the Insane Elbow.
