A fascinating City Studios documentary covering Jill Roord's return from a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament. The Dutch international's move to the Joie Stadium in the summer of 2023 was a statement of intent from City. Roord had played in the Champions League final a few months prior for VfL Wolfsburg and arrived in Manchester with a reputation as one of the finest attacking midfielders in the game. She immediately hit the ground running, scoring on her debut against West Ham United while also finding the net in a 3-1 win at Old Trafford two months later.
