The right front knee is a direct Muay Thai strike used to attack the opponent’s ribs or midsection at close range. From a stable fighting stance, the technique begins by stepping forward with the lead foot to close distance. The rear knee then drives upward with controlled hip extension, targeting the body at a slight angle for effective contact. The striking side arm swings downward to assist balance and power while the opposite hand remains high for defensive protection.
