Giuliano signs contract extension until 2030

Giuliano Simeone has signed a contract extension with our club until June 30, 2030. The winger was previously committed until 2028. The 23-year-old joined our Academy in 2019 and until the summer of 2022 enjoyed a successful career in our youth teams. A member of the Atlético de Madrid Juvenil A side which was crowned champion of Group 5 of the División de Honor in the 2020/21 season, he made his debut with Atlético Madrileño that same campaign, playing 15 matches for the team. In the 2021/22 season, he continued playing for our B team – making 36 appearances and scoring 24 goals. This tally not only crowned him as the top scorer in Group 7 of Tercera RFEF, but also made him a key player in Atlético Madrileño's promotion. Moreover, on April 20, 2022 he made his first team debut in the LaLiga match against Granada at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Giuliano then spent two seasons on loan at Real Zaragoza (2022/23) and Deportivo Alavés (2023/24), after which he returned to our club to become a permanent member of the first team. Since then, he has played 77 matches, setting eight goals, providing 16 assists and becoming one of the fans' idols for his work rate on the pitch.
