An epic collar and elbow tie up kicks off this best of 3 falls match and demonstrates just how evenly matched these two are. An impressive chain of clean counters and reversals is again very even until one wrestler starts to feel like she’s being led on a dance floor and she does not like it! Vicious chops in the corner change the tone almost immediately and throw one combatant off her game long enough to fall victim to a sleeper and a 1 fall deficit. Only with assistance from the referee is the defeated grappler able to get to her feet to continue but soon adrenaline has her one the attack and not playing as nice. But aggressiveness can lead to mistakes and she dodges a big one in the form of a standing stranglehold. Nasty chops in the corner return and in a case of déjà vu they foreshadow another Sleeper KO only this one evens the match at 1 fall apiece. Even in defeat a psychological edged is gained by not needing Ref assistance setting up a wild 3rd fall.
