🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION: The unbeaten light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev kept his perfect knockout streak alive, stopping Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic in five rounds during their ESPN main event Saturday night at Stockton Arena in Stockton. Beterbiev dropped Kalajdzic in the third round and continued to punish the Serbian challenger until the referee halted the bout just 13 seconds into round five. “I wasn’t happy with my performance,” Beterbiev admitted after only his third fight in 19 months. “Maybe my opponent didn’t give me the chance to show all my skills.” Going in, many expected Beterbiev to press the action immediately. Kalajdzic’s camp had studied the defending champion closely, but despite their preparation, they still had no solution for the relentless pressure.
