An exchange of armlocks opens this Best of 3 Submissions contest. Well matched in the early stages of the bout, both women apply and endure an equal share of punishment as they each look to score the first submission. Shawn Spears is in the stripes to officiate and he soon finds himself having to keep Ariel in line as she begins to cut corners in a bid to take control of the match. However, it is Kimberly who gains the opening submission with a Juji gatame Armbar. Kimberly quickly resumes the bout, now targeting Ariel's weakened arm. Determined not to lose the match 2-0, Ariel fights back hard and after ensuring Kimberly is in the very center of the ring, she locks in an agonizing Boston Crab that sees Kimberly desperately tapping out in a matter of moments. The battle for the winning submission sees both women go all out as they swap armlocks, legbars, bodyscissors, anklelocks and more. Shawn is kept even busier by Ariel's now almost permanent grip on Kimberly's hair, releasing it only to instead pull on her nose or even bite her opponent.
