Don't let the friendly handshake at the start of this one fool you. Both competitors are out to win at any cost! The two show off their respect for each other with fundamental wrestling early in the match, then an exchange of tight Headlocks. However, once Fred decides to target Aja's leg, the momentum turns decidedly in his favor. Fred finds all sorts of inventive ways to attack Aja's leg, including some intricate Indian Deathlock variations, high-angle half crabs, and plain old stomps to the knee. With Aja all tied up, she's hardly able to muster up much offense despite her best efforts. Her pain is evident as Fred grinds his foot down on her knee in search of a submission. The resilient Brazilian is a tough nut to crack, but it might be too much to ask her to overcome her damaged appendage. Will she battle back or will Fred's focused attack leave her flat on the mat?
