Wrestling Bios Presents - The Story of The Brood in WWF In 1998, after Edge, Gangrel and Christian made their WWF debuts, the trio would form The Brood stable, a group of guys who, as commentatirs put it, "lived a gothic lifestyle". We all know what the group was really supposed to be... Vampires. Somehow, this new stable in the WWE back in 1998 somehow actually worked in the WWF Attitude Era. Edge had no real purpose or gimmick when he made his debut in 1998, being told his character is that of a mysterious loner. David Heath had already worked as The Vampire Warrior, a gimmick both he and his wife Luna Vachon had worked on and, even before this, had a wealth of wrestling experience. Christian would make his WWF debut during a match pitting Edge against Gangrel, and form here The Brood storyline started.
