Defense of the Ancients - also known as DotA - was first introduced as a ‘mod’ for WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos back in 2002. It’s a game that’s captured the hearts and minds of competitors and turned them into champions. After all, it’s an esport that’s fueled by nothing except a pure, unadulterated love for a beautiful and at times unforgiving game. This is its story.
