What does it take to become a world-class professional wrestler? What are the attributes and qualities that make up the kind of athlete that has a legitimate chance at going the distance it in our grappling game industry? What kind of mental and physical stock is required to compete at the top, international level in the business? In this series, entitled The Gut Check, Finland's pro wrestling pioneer and the most accomplished pro out of the Nordics of Europe in history, ”The Rebel” StarBuck, takes a young, promising upstart in Finland's Polar Pekko and pushes him to the limit to see if he has the internal stock to make it to the top of his chosen game. The Gut Check is a straight-down shoot, where no punches are pulled and the viewer is shown the realities of upper echelon mindset, training and discipline, all in order to have a chance at breaking out and making an international impact. Indeed, professional wrestling, when done right, is not all-inclusive, nor do all who enter it have the mental and physical faculties or prowess to become a name and success beyond their local borders. Under the watchful and demanding eye of the 3-time European champion, StarBuck, Polar Pekko is pushed to his very limits. The Gut Check is for real! True professional wrestling isn't for everyone. It's for the chosen few who are up for the challenge and ready to pay the full price to reach the top. Does Polar Pekko have what it takes? Follow The Gut Check series and find out!
