If Cletus was to win the match, he would earn himself a guaranteed contract for LIFE with Genesis Professional Wrestling and a Championship match of his choosing in any division. If The Boss wins, Cletus Cannonball would be gone from Genesis Professional Wrestling forever. Cletus bought everything he had to the match with some high impact, fast paced action that looked like he had The Boss' number, but in the closing moments it was one of the hardest slaps we've seen in Genesis Professional Wrestling history that woke The Boss up enough to seal Cletus fate.
