Completely authentic, and him being a cezar gracie black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, Nick Diaz became most renowned for his incredible conditioning and pressure boxing style, pushing a pace that few could keep up with. stalking his opponents, taunting them, whilst peppering them with a constant stream of punches. A lot of this was put down to his conditioning, him and his brother having legendary cardiovascular fitness, with Joe Rogan proclaiming his almost mythical feats of endurance like swimming from Alcatraz prison and regularly competing in triathlons. It could be quite easy to overlook the subtle boxing that the Diaz brothers possess, in particular Nick; who was arguably the better fighter, in his peak, out of the two brothers.
