One judge scored it 115-111 for Cruz, while the other two turned in identical 113-113 cards. It was Roach's second straight majority draw of 2025. In March, the former WBA super featherweight champion also settled for a controversial draw with Gervonta "Tank" Davis after Davis took a knee that was never ruled a knockdown, igniting widespread backlash. “All I’m asking for is a fair shot,” Roach said. “I felt like I edged it.
