Back on 9 January 2005 Sampdoria had a two goal lead over Inter at San Siro going into the latter stages of the match. Martins then struck in the 88th minute to give the Nerazzurri a glimmer of hope, before two minutes and 50 seconds later Vieri found the net to level the score. Yet Inter weren't done there - Karagounis's cross found Stankovic who laid it off to Recoba, and the Uruguayan completed the comeback with a trademark left-footed finish, leaving San Siro in raptures! Relive those ten incredible final minutes of Inter's 3-2 win over Sampdoria that day, one of the greatest comebacks in the club's history. 🖤💙 #InterSampdoria #IMInter #ForzaInter 9 gennaio 2005, Sampdoria avanti di due gol a San Siro.
