The surly Rain slaps away Hiroyo’s handshake and delivers a cheap shot as she confers with multilingual referee Chasyn. Rain explodes with a flurry of forearms to Matsumoto’s chest followed by a series of shoulderblocks in the corner as she looks to soften up Hiroyo’s midsection. She traps Hiroyo in an inverted Full Nelson and works her abs with gut strikes, kicks and Headbutts. Matsumoto roars back, clamping on a tight Front Facelock and ‘Godzilla walking’ Rain to the center of the ring. A stunner on the ropes leaves Rain in a daze and Hiroyo drapes her across the second turnbuckle to deliver a series of knees to the ribs and devastating corner splash. It looks like the end for Rain as Hiroyo hauls her up in a human Torture Rack, but the resilient vet fights her way out! A wild back and forth frenzy of moves and reversals sets up a lights out DDT that leaves one wrestler down and out for the 3 count.
