The former two-time featherweight world champion scored four knockdowns before crushing Castaneda with a 10th-round stoppage in their lightweight clash on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao’s WBC welterweight title fight against Mario Barrios. Castaneda (15-3-1, 11 KOs) came out aggressively from the opening bell, hoping to overwhelm the veteran, but Russell’s elite hand speed, razor-sharp timing, and pinpoint accuracy quickly took over.
