With the balance aswell, an ability to lunge into strikes is also gifted which is demonstrated by Conor McGregor's ability to cover distance with his kick. We can see the difference in distance displayed when McGregor places more weight onto his back leg due to a more thai style stance. He now gains the ability to check kicks in compensation for distance and illusive footwork. Ones a wraith, the other, a tank. Seeing these kicks we can confirm a few things for certain.
