A back-and-forth test of strength sets the pace for this match that's a nail-biter to the very end. These two young talents trade submissions and pin attempts for the majority of the bout, rarely stopping to catch their breath. The action goes the ground early. Both wrestlers get to show off their grappling skills, with MJ working for leglocks and more complex submissions like a Boston Crab and a Camel Clutch and Aja countering with Headscissors and a Chinlock. Business picks up when MJ chops Aja in the corner only to be blocked, spun around, and chopped herself! That striking advantage doesn't last long for Aja as MJ turns the tables with some hard knees and a legsweep to put Aja down. An impressive rolling splash nearly ends the match, but it's not until one wrestler lands a spinning roundhouse kick that this one is truly over.
