At the World Kendo Championships 5 New Zealanders have been awarded Fighting Spirit Awards. 4 of those were members of the Rembuden Kendo Club. Gerard Egerton, Sachiyo Lee, Rob Challies and Haruko Tsuzuki. Rembuden hopes the future will see other members also performing well at the World Championships.
