This is when Cody Rhodes got fired from WWE. Triple H and Randy Orton were walking backstage and they got interrupted by Cody in September 2013. He accused Randy of running from Daniel Bryan and told Triple H giving a chance for Bryan is best for business. Triple H got a bit offended, saying Cody should drop it since he has a lot on his mind with his wedding coming up. Neither Randy or Triple H got invited to the wedding so Triple H has an early present, a match against Randy. Cody said it’s a great opportunity, Triple H agreed, adding that if he doesn’t win, he’s fired. They met that evening, where Randy hit Cody with the RKO to win the match. Triple H came out and told Cody he’s fired. Cody was really angry about what happened, saying that the McMahon family always hated the Rhodes family.
