Gargano hit Ciampa with the title and Cole retained. Three months later, Cole faced Velveteen Dream. Cole superkicked Dream and hit him with the Last Shot to retain the title. They had a rematch a month later at Takeover In Your House in a Backlot Brawl Match. Cole hit Dream with the Panama Sunrise on some chairs to retain the title. A month later at Great American Bash, Cole put his title on the line against Keith Lee’s North American Title in a Winner Take All match. Lee hit Cole with the Big Bang Catastrophe to become a double
