This time, it's Mayhem 2000... what could possibly go wrong? WCW Mayhem 2000 is a seriously overbooked show. With 12 matches in total, this one seems to go on forever. The show does, however, feature a main event pitting WCW Champion Booker T against challenger Scott Steiner, and going into this show many believed that this would finally be Steiner's crowning moment. The main event is a Caged Heat Steel Cage Straitjacket match, and the outcome would please many fans of Big Poppa Pump. Elsewhere on the show Kevin Nash and DDP team up for a tag title shot against The Perfect Event, Lex Luger tries to end Goldberg's streak when he faces the man himself in the semi main event, and Lance Storm tries to win back his US Championship when he faces General Rection.
