UFC 304 : Aspinall vs. Blaydes 2 will take place at the Co-Op Live arena in Manchester, England. UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will make the first defence of his title in his home city of Manchester this summer. It will come against Curtis Blaydes and it is an opponent who Aspinall will want to settle the score with. Aspinall and Blaydes met in London two years ago, but just 15 seconds into their bout, the British star injured his knee and was unable to continue. Tom Aspinall's career has skyrocketed in the two years since a serious knee ligament injury forced a premature end to his bout with Curtis Blaydes at London's O2 Arena. After Blaydes' victory over Jailton Almeida at UFC 299, he called for a rematch against Britain's UFC interim champion, who knocked out Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 to secure the interim heavyweight title back in November.
