The New Guy

Embarrassing display of amateurish writing & directing. Multiple musician cameos must've gobbled up most of the budget, but at least that lead to the singular laugh in this "comedy" coming from Vanilla Ice. Don't waste your time. #nitrosMovieChallenge.

i just saw this movie in hbo. i think it's one of the corniest film ever and the most unbelievable. the first part of the movie was more okay when he was in prison. when he became the new guy, it was so stupid. everyone there was artificial. i like entertaining movies or even stupid movies but this film was trying too hard to be a stupid movie that wants to be patriotic too?

As someone from the "John Hughes" generation, I was starting to become dismayed at the lack of decent teen comedies as of late. However, when you compare this to "Dude, where's my joke?", "Freddie got Fiscally Fingered", "How Highly Stupid", "Kevin Smith Strikes Another Movie Deal", and "Stupid Movie" (one and two), it's a friggin masterpiece. It's nice to see a comedy that made me giggle at points and didn't have to rely on pee-pee and poo-poo jokes every 30 seconds. It was sweet and had a decent story. I would call it this generations "Can't Buy Me Love".

Will they discover his true identity? This one aims for the bonfire where it presents itself with uncreative writing and an overshare of extremely unfunny * jokes. Who makes these uninspiring repeats? Running Time: 89 minutes and rated PG-13 for vulgarity, sexual content, and some language. * ½

It is a movie that entertains me that I watched with pleasure 4-5 times but it used to taste different when time passed, I realized that it was not a very good movie. A simple time-consuming funny movie is watched without getting bored, but you realize that the movie is not good. There are differences between the sense of comedy in the past and comedy now.This has some effect too, not good but I recommend.

Come on people!! why is everyone so worried about the plot half the time. The New Guy had an overall trite story, but was entertaining and a fun to watch film. So what if it didn't have a immense story line as Lord of the Rings or the astonishing and well thought out plot of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.It was good because, unlike Lord of The Rings, wasn't claimed to be long and boring.It is just nice to kick back and watch this movie because it is fun!
