Lisa's character is so dumb and annoying, this movie is useless seriously because of her.

The ghosts are the same but that's about it. This doesn't fall the cannon of the first two. Which is impressive given how little cannon was established. Nothing redeeming. This feels like the movie "The Crows Have Eyes III" is mocking.

Better than the second, despite focusing on those teen horrors, not presenting anything innovative, just continuing, more of the same as the previous sequences, no new or relevant information, just a movie made just for lovers of the trilogy and / or trash cinema. .. As I am interested in horror b with haunted and/or ghostly children and teenagers, it entertained me enough, I am interested in horror b with haunted and/or ghostly children and teenagers, it entertained me enough... Let's go to the version from 2020 of "O Scream"... Good, regular to good, much better than the first... However slightly superior to the first...

Yes I agree that the first 2 Grudge films were scarier and better and were more complete but take nothing away from this one, The Grudge 3 has good suspense and did a pretty good job of scaring people and introducing a new character. So all in all it was a pretty decent movie

Hm So i've watched all 3 series of Grudge. And going into this movie, i expected the not so good acting. The plot also i kinda weird since you have Japanese ghosts in an American home, which really doesn't make sense. But if you put that aside, i thought the scary scenes were really well made. I've watched a lot of horror films and this one is up there in terms of suspense and scare. I also thought the jerky movements of the female ghost were pretty interesting. All in all i thought this isn't that bad of a movie, i would give it a 7 if the story was more convincing and the acting better. But i give it a 6 because i thought its a movie which provided good suspense and scares that we look for (why else would you go see horror films?).

The best of a bad bunch, The Grudge 3 demonstrates the most competent plot of the franchise thus far. The series' history of poor acting and horrific character decision-making rears its ugly head once again in this film, even causing one to occasionally root against the protagonists - the weakest that the Grudge series has seen to this point.

This movie is lame, not in the euphemistic sense of the word, but in that it lacks all of the punch of the original Americanized film. The Saeki family are up to all of their usual scares, and the filmmakers helpfully show you EXACTLY which events in the original murders that the Saeki ghosts are reenacting in all of the movie's kill sequences. It's so overdone that it seems as if the creators have absolutely no respect for their audience. Part of what made the original Grudge so eerie was that we understood so little of what was going on until the very end, and even then the explanation never went further than this: That when someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage, a terrible curse is born. Ascribing a REASON behind the curse (as opposed to a cause) takes away from its awfulness. For that reason, although the movie managed a few typical BOO scares, I can't rate it very highly.
