The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase was an iconic heel wrestler during the WWF Golden Era. The character portrayed by Dibiase was nothing short of brilliant, using his great wealth to practically get his own way at any given oppurtinity. Ted Dibiase was a natural villain and I do feel he was just as instrumental in WWE's early success when compared to the the likes of Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior. The Million Dollar Man laugh and his theme music are both totally iconic. In this mini documentary from Wrestling Bios, we look at the career of Ted Dibiase. Topics covered in this video include: - Ted Dibiase's upbringing and his reasons for getting into wrestling - Dibiase working in the Georgia and Mid South regions - The Ted Dibiase WWF debut along with the early vignettes showing his Million Dollar Man gimmick - The Million Dollar Man challenging members of the audience to complete tasks for monetary gain - His work against Hulk Hogan and teaming with Andre The Giant - The debut of The Million Dollar Championship belt - Virgil and the inevitable turn that saw Virgil become a good guy - Ted Dibiase forming the Money Inc Tag Team along with IRS - The Million Dollar corporation and Ted Dibiase introducing his own Undertaker in 1994 - Ted Dibiase leaving the WWE to join WCW and the nWo - And much more! #wrestling #wwe #documentary Dibiase also has to be applauded for his brutal honesty in the years that followed his in-ring career. He has never been one to hold back and he has been very open about his opinions, both on a professional and personal level. Something that is sometimes lacking in the usually covered world of pro wrestling. Dibiase in later life, I feel, is a great example of someone who made his quality of life better by being a man and owning up to his mistakes. So in this video, lets take a look at the career of The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase.
