Natural born fighter Yo Seok (Bae Yong Joon) is constantly under the radar of a gangster organization looking to recruit the youngblood. But instead of falling into temptation, Yo Seok leaves his hometown to pursue his dream of becoming a policeman. While studying night and day for his college entrance exam in the big city of Seoul, Yo Seok rescues a girl named Hye Joon (Ko So Young) who turns out to be the daughter of the city's public prosecutor. The two gradually fall in love with each other but tragedy strikes when Yo Seok finds out about his triad family background. Suddenly the same fate that brought them together, now threatens to tear them apart.

This drama was tough to get through. No clear direction, things were happening as they were going along. Bad characters' writing, none of them were appealing. The protagonists weren't given the treatment of a protagonist. Sang Yup seems to be given too much focus with his affairs while neglecting the leads, the leads and their story were boring anyway. Add to that lame villains/baddies. Go So Young performance wasn't good! It's also Bae Yong Joon weakest drama. The production was acceptable since it was from the 90s. I can't think of something notable to like. Plus, the available subtitles were troublesome.
