The Animal

The movie was good, a classic movie mada with ex-Saturdat Night Live people. Made me laugh but is not the funniest movie I have ever seen. If you are in the mood this movie will make you laugh and you will enjoy your time.

I used to watch this as a kid a few times and even then I knew this wasn't funny. The jokes are very hit or miss, the acting's kind've drake and the story's interesting though the execution can vary from creative to just weird. It's not a movie I'd recommend if you're looking for a good comedy.

I didn't really like this movie that much at all. It wasn't really funny and in some cases it was just downright stupid. Rob Schneider is definitely one enormously talented individual and while his acting was fine in this, it just seemed like a real waste for him to star in. I mean there were some parts that were okay and somewhat humorous in a cute kind of way but that's about it. The only thing that actually caught my attention during this whole ordeal of over the top jokes was that there were some very good looking females present and I'm not one to watch a movie solely because of that but in this case it was the only nook where even the slightest case of redemption could be found. All in all it was a couple notches below an average movie! Final Query: Theaters: So glad I didn't squander too much money on this. DVD Purchase: Ummm, let me think....no! Rental: If you have a prehistoric sense of humor then why not.

I went to see this movie with my sister, when both of us felt like seeing a dumb, fun movie. We got exactly what we expected, and had a good time at it. There were quite a few parts which were just very funny, some gross, some that left me scratching my head. Overall, I think the best way to describe my feelings about it is to say that it was worth the price of a matinee ticket, but possibly not an evening show. You have to be in the right mood to see this one, but if you are, it's great. 1/10 as a cinematic creation, 10/10 for what it is.
