Welcome to my Necrobinder Ascension 6 run! Unlike the last one, this one was a lot more tense. I had literally no potions going into the end (it's my fault I didn't buy potions), and I wasn't able to upgrade much of anything. This playthrough definitely highlights Necrobiners ability to turn around an entire deck in just a couple cards. Compared to other characters, it's very difficult to do the same thing. This run was special in the sense that I never really had what I needed, but it still worked out. I think there were some very great defensive calls I made and I think I played this deck very well. I was proud of it after being able to hold off the Act 2 boss. Even though I didn't have the cards I wanted just yet, I still had hope for this deck. Fasten was the first good pull that changed things. The immediate upgrade and saving my health in the first few battles really increased the chances of this deck... but not because I would get the cards I needed... it was just to survive Act 2. Then, it happened. The first Sleight of Flesh card popped up... then another... then another. Then once I saw Countdown and Deaths Door, I knew it was going to be close with all the status effect cards I had stacked throughout the round. I was waiting for those cards and once they popped up, I was hoping it wouldn't be too late. Reaper Form also came onto the deck and increased my chances of survival. The final fight was tense and I didn't think I had a shot when I got down to a few HP. But the end of this fight is REALLY highlighted by Sleight of Flesh and just how OP it is. There is NO card in this game I enjoy playing more than Sleight of Flesh. There was a run yesterday where I got it early... and it had GLAM on it! I was screaming at my PC when the run died hahah. This was probably only the fifth or so run to get this one down. Thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy!
