IMO he could have gotten some good results going for an arm triangle / kata gatame. There would be little risk he could still maintain the pin. 01:42 Top Guy attacks the armbar and gets the tap. The bottom guy had a few chances to escape and get on top and by attempting to pull his arm out he most likely allowed the armbar to be finished. Again Imo the kata gatame was a much lower risk attack to preform. But all is well that ends well. Victory Via Armbar. Note: The Playlists are arranged by technique.
