Only Igor knows the truth about the alien guests. But Sergey Petrovich also senses that something is wrong in the village, so he begins an investigation. No one believes him, because the newcomers have unexpectedly quickly integrated into village life: Igor has met those who will help raise the village, Father Agafon has met someone to guide on the true path, the teacher Ira has found a kindred spirit in the optimist Roma, and the saleswoman Lyuba has found a hero in the form of the interplanetary protector Borya. While Sveta, Borya and Roma's mother, is repairing the ship, the whole family lives in human shells. But hiding the truth is becoming more difficult due to strange events around, including beavers who have begun to talk thanks to an alien substance that has fallen into the river.
