The trio supported each other through hardships, navigating the rapid development of Shenzhen. They transitioned from labor jobs to foreign trade and eventually launched their own toy brand. Despite setbacks in business and betrayals by Huang Yaodong and Yan Ziwei, Fang Wanzhi persevered, constantly improving herself by attending night school and learning English. She seized the opportunities brought by the reform and opening-up era, striving to rebuild her life repeatedly. Her resilience inspired those around her to find happiness. In her middle age, with her company successfully listed, Fang handed its management over to her team.
